How to Log Into your WordPress Dashboard
Your WordPress Dashboard is the administration panel where you can manage the content and functionality of your site in a an easy-to-use WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) environment. Here you will write and edit posts and pages, build and edit menus, control sidebar content, manage theme options, and more.
Your WordPress Dashboard lives right on your Web server, which means you can log in from any computer with an Internet connection to work on your site.
Your login page is http://yourwebsite.com/wp-login.php
, where yourwebsite.com
is your domain name.
TIP: If you think you won’t remember this address, bookmark it in your browser. But you will find that as you continue to develop your site, it will become second nature to type in that address.

Your WordPress Login Screen
This login screen will take you to your Dashboard. Once in your Dashboard, you can easily toggle back and forth between it and the “front end” (public view) of your Web site. Just click the Web site name in the top black menu bar.
