Client: Carpenter & Langford, PLLC
Industry: Tax & Finance
Project Goal: To introduce a more confident, modern visual style into a traditionally conservative industry—amplifying an existing brand through thoughtful design choices that bring clarity, warmth, and personality to the user experience.
When Carpenter & Langford came to us for a redesign, they were ready to take a bigger visual leap. The previous site served them well for years, but this time, they were drawn to bolder use of color, geometric elements, and a more modern, design-forward approach. As a firm that values strong client relationships, they wanted a site that felt more personal, more polished, and more reflective of who they are today.
Their previous site was a streamlined, functional template that kept things simple. This time, we had the opportunity to evolve that foundation. The brand colors didn’t change—they’ve always had a bright, inviting palette—but we finally gave those colors room to lead. The result is a warmer, more energetic visual tone that still feels appropriate for the financial space.
We also introduced modern typography to elevate the overall aesthetic, along with subtle geometric design elements to add polish without distraction. A set of custom graphics helps bring personality into the mix, and a new process infographic clarifies how the firm works with clients—a thoughtful addition that supports both user experience and business development.
Like many sites in this category, it still leans on stock photography, including imagery of Austin. But every design decision—from color use to layout to image selection—was made with consistency and tone in mind.
The new Carpenter & Langford site reflects the same values the firm has always held. But now, they’re communicated with more confidence, clarity, and visual sophistication.
